Let us congratulate CHOW Chung Yan (S6C, 2021-22) on receiving the HKUST Hong Kong Diploma of Secondary Education (HKDSE) Scholarship, which is established to recognize outstanding academic attainments at the HKDSE Examinations. Chung Yan is now a year-one undergraduate taking up a Bachelor of Engineering with an Extended Major in Artificial Intelligence at HKUST. She once wrote, “Thou art the Light of the World”. I wish not to become the next Thomas Edison, but merely to live up to my school’s motto by illuminating the future path of humankind, engineering one piece of technology at a time.”
